Philanthropy

Make-A-WIsh is the main Philanthropy of Delta Pi Omega.

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish^® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.

Other examples of philanthropies that we generally participate in are walks for autism & breast cancer, serving in a local soup kitchen ,working at a local animal shelter, participating in the Kick the Silence Stop the Violence, raising money for the Salvation Army and more. 

UMass Dartmouth Greek Life is very involved with philanthropy also.Every April UMass Dartmouth hosts the Relay for Life on campus. Keep your eye out for the Delta Team!
